Job Description
Miss Bloomingdale's Academy is an academic preschool for children ages 6 weeks old to six years old. We are looking for highly motivated teachers who want to make an impact on the world by teaching and loving children.
Our Expectations:
As a Floater/Teacher, you are:
- Caring! Are caring, compassionate and love what they do! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
- Engaged! Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized. Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
- Make an Impact! Make a difference in a child's life. Teach a research based, comprehensive curriculum.
- Knowledgeable! Complete training that provides insight on Child Care, preschool and development topics.
- Creative! Implement our curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
- Flexible! Be ready to go into any class you might be needed in. It's a chance to really grow as a teacher and get to know all ages of children in the school.
We are most interested in talking to applicants that have:
- Experience working with children – we will train!
- Coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA (for a Lead role)
- Flexibility to work a fixed schedule of the hours our children most need care.

- Pay based on Position, Education and Experience. Lead Teacher with over 10 years' experience: $15-$17/Teacher: $14-15/Assistant Teacher: $13.50 – $14.75
