Child Care Director candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Ed or related field, or a NYS Children's Program Administrator Credential. Essential Job Functions:
- The Child Care Director must manage day to day operations with positive and effective leadership
- The Child Care Director must create team building opportunities
- The Child Care Director must multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- The Child Care Director must be Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and be willing to learn new computer programs
- The Child Care Director must display flexibility to “jump in” to classrooms as needed
- The Child Care Director is responsible for complying with OCFS, Department of Health regulations, and Building and Fire Codes
- The Child Care Director manages teacher and child schedules and maintains OCFS ratios
- The Child Care Director displays kind, caring, and respectful parent interactions with our valued families and prospective students.
- The Child Care Director has experience in Child Care and/or Education
- The Child Care Director should be comfortable mentoring teachers
- The Child Care Director must be able to stay calm in emergency situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
