Child Care Assistant Teacher

Children’s Center at Camp Hill (Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc.) is a well established, non-profit, high quality, early education program serving the local community for 35 years. We are seeking FULL TIME or PART TIME Infant, Toddler, or Preschool Assistants to join our amazing team. College students are always welcome to apply.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assist with child and teacher directed activities that meet the child’s needs for intellectual, physical, and social/emotional growth
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for all children
• Promote a fun learning environment where children can be creative and engaged in hands-on learning
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and co-workers

Qualifications include:

• Have a minimum of a high school diploma
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience working/volunteering with children in a group setting
• Be passionate and enthusiastic about working with young children
• Ability to build positive and meaningful relationships with all children
• Be a positive and supportive team member
• Be fluent in the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to obtain child abuse and criminal clearances to work with children
