Job Description
- Assessing client’s emotional and Mental Health and developing treatment plans
- Asking questions, counseling, and helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings
- Provide referral, additional care and advising clients on issues of importance to them
- Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
- Maintaining detailed confidential records and document submission in timely manner
- Participate in some after-school programming activities
- Bachelor’s degree in social with Ohio LSW; or,
- Master’s degree in counseling or social work, Marriage and Family Therapist, and license as LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S or, MFT, IMFT or IMFT-S.
- May be Registered as a Counselor Trainee or a Social Worker Trainee in Pipeline’s Internship Program.
- Two years (or more) direct experience in a Mental Health setting providing prevention services and/or Mental Health therapy to children and their families is preferred.
