Pipeline Counseling is seeking licensed Child and Teen Clinicians to join our school-based services program. Combine your interest in working with children and Teens who have emotional challenges with your desire to advance your career in the Mental Health field, and, at the same time make top dollar for using your skills! The best candidate for the position will see clients primarily in the school, and in the community as well as in the office settings. The telehealth platform is available. Scheduling is flexible, however, some evening and occasional weekend hours will be required. Must be available to offer a minimum of 15 to 20 direct service hours per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessing client’s emotional and Mental Health and developing treatment plans
- Asking questions, counseling, and helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings
- Provide referral, additional care and advising clients on issues of importance to them
- Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
- Maintaining detailed confidential records and document submission in timely manner
- Participate in some after-school programming activities
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in social with Ohio LSW; or,
- Master’s degree in counseling or social work, Marriage and Family Therapist, and license as LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S or, MFT, IMFT or IMFT-S.
- May be Registered as a Counselor Trainee or a Social Worker Trainee in Pipeline’s Internship Program.
- Two years (or more) direct experience in a Mental Health setting providing prevention services and/or Mental Health therapy to children and their families is preferred.
