Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Research and keep up to date on childcare, early childhood education, schools and adult/elder care resources in the St. Louis area. Build relationships with these centers, schools and resources. Conduct market assessments to stay up to date on the latest trends in local and national markets around childcare and keep abreast of regulatory changes and laws. Help create and design new Family Care offerings.
• Meet with faculty and staff on an individual basis to review their needs, provide information on various options (including relevant university resources and benefits), make connections between faculty and staff and their preferred center and other resources.
• Maximize the use of available resources, including university offerings, assess available options and understand the needs of the university community. Conduct briefings on various care options and resources, as well as relevant university resources and benefits, to groups on campus as requested/needed, eg, during orientation sessions and staff meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date website and compose periodic newsletters or blog posts with information on resources for families.
• Participate in employee wellness/vendor fairs to build awareness of the role and the services provided by the Family Care Concierge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of local childcare and early childhood education centers and market.
• Knowledge of licensing and accreditation agencies and requirements.
• Experience in leadership role in childcare or early childhood education.
• Excellent customer service, research and problem solving,.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Three years of customer service.

Salary Range

$57,300.00 - $97,700.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
