Clinic Description
As a Child and Adolescent Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you will share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality Mental Health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.
Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 by Erin Pash, LMFT and Kyle Keller, LICSW when they opened the first Ellie clinic in Minneapolis. Since then, the Ellie Fam has continued to grow with multiple clinics in Minnesota and a growing number of locally owned and operated franchises across the country.

Please note:
Salary is a combination of a base pay and commissions.
The position is located in Falmouth.
Responsibilities include:

• Clinical documentation:
• Intake paperwork for services including biopsychosocial assessments, assessment for medical necessity, provide/clarify diagnosis, and create and implement initial treatment plans.
• Complete ongoing documentation in a timely manner including annual assessments, re-assessment of diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, insurance reviews, collateral contacts, progress notes, and other documentation as appropriate according to company policy/protocol and client needs.
• Provide excellent clinical services for clients through the use of creativity and innovative therapy tools to help them and their families achieve and exceed their goals.
• Coordinate services/referrals and collaborate with families and professional supports including work personnel, medical/med management personnel, case managers, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Collaborate with a dynamic and passionate team to further the mission of filling the gaps in our community.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings, administrative meetings, individual supervision, and trainings.
• Maintain an unrestricted active clinical license for practice. Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week to be considered full-time status and receive benefits. The schedule is flexible and based on your availability!

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Have a masters degree in one of the behavioral health sciences from an accredited college or university.
• Have a Maine-issued Clinical License to practice (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Full or Conditional).
• If conditionally licensed, a minimum of 1 year post graduate experience providing therapy under a Maine license .
• Focus of clinical work is with children and Adolescents with flexibility to see youth through young adulthood. Ability to work with families/guardians as part of treatment.
• Willingness to work after school and/or weekend hours to meet client availability.
• Required experience with completing biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical progress notes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable appropriate boundaries with clients/guardians and engage in ethical practice.
• Organized and reliable, including the ability to complete and submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Ability to manage and own your client portfolio with Clinic Director's oversight.
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base and family systems demonstrating compassion and acceptance.
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment that values humor and authenticity.
• A passion for destigmatizing Mental Health and willingness to support efforts through community involvement.
• A willingness to be completely transparent and genuine with a dab of levity and dollop of passion and enthusiasm!

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
• Registration or certification in one of the expressive arts therapies.
• Experience with play therapy and/or sand tray therapy.
• Specialized training in other innovative, creative, and/or holistic therapy approaches.
