- Facilitates patient’s engagement in program and maintenance of safe behavior.
- Engages children in the waiting room in trauma sensitive constructive, structured craft or play activities while parent is working with child’s therapist, investigators or Family Advocate.
- Performs and assists with specific clerical duties and projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability in working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assist with meeting the developmental needs of children and families involved in child maltreatment investigations.
- Requires ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing with program staff and patient.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, standards and techniques for appropriate developmental activities and equipment preferred.
- Understanding of the emotional and behavioral impact of trauma preferred.
Increased Security Clearance may be Required: Recurring FBI fingerprinting, criminal background check, Child Protective Services registry search, and Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender.
