The County Federal Credit Union is seeking a positive professional to join our team as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) located in Presque Isle, Maine. This position will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, strategic planning and overall organizational effectiveness. The COO more specifically is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of the credit union operational areas including the Branch Retail Services, Marketing, Training and Lending, while promoting service excellence and achieving the Credit Union’s long-term objective of serving our members. The COO will develop and make recommendations regarding operating procedures to increase value to the members and/or make the organization more efficient. A goal of the COO is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth efficiently.

This individual should be a forward-thinker, energetic and creative leader with the ability to drive innovation, specifically regarding service technology, in member delivery in the areas of sales and service. A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus, as well as an operational and detail-oriented perspective.
