Step up into a new role as Chief of Staff for SAP SuccessFactors' Chief Marketing Officer and have a positive impact on how businesses are run across the globe. 

 

Role Description

As Chief of Staff, you should expect to couple your industry and business expertise with transformational program management skills to support the vision & thought leadership of this segment. This includes management and execution of diverse strategic and operational projects and activities that effectively enable the CMO of SAP SuccessFactors. 

 

The individual will be also responsible for preparation and support during all internal and external events, meetings, customer engagements, and more. In theory s/he must be available to travel periodically to provide on-site support or as in recent practice, manage from their living rooms while sheltering in place. 

 

This job requires a swiss-army knife personality, someone who can adapt on the fly and get the job done.  It is also very fast paced. If high velocity gives you energy this is the job for you.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 Collaborate closely with key internal marketing & solutions leaders, as well as product & engineering and customer success. 

 Facilitate internal team and leadership meetings, including all-hands, quarterly management reviews, and other workshops/business sessions/off-sites. 

 Review, analyse, and summarize a variety of information for the Head of the organization.   

 Manage special projects and activities as assigned, including customer escalations. 

 Engage with the business in the preparation of key annual events, including MKOM, SAPPHIRE and SuccessConnect.

 Proactively identify and resolve various other unforeseeable/unpredictable events/internal and external customer inquiries and activities.

 Plan visits to all regions throughout the year to maximize learning, foster relationships with local leaders. 

 Capture actions with attention to commitments during meetings and work to ensure these are effectively executive/fulfilled.

 Ability to protect confidential and/or sensitive information

 Possesses extensive general business acumen 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 7+ years total professional experience, including business consulting and/or operations

 Experience with complex topics and ability to think fluently / rationalize abstract concepts

 Advanced knowledge of SAP's internal processes

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

 Solid work experience leading projects, teams or organizations

 Equally comfortable leading or contributing to teams

 MBA / graduate degree preferred

 

Travel and work hour requirements:

 10-35% travel

 Global travel (applicant must disclose any known geographic travel limitations)

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 141,800 - 323,900 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
