Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) – Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital for Children & Teens
Situated in Chicago, Illinois, Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital for Children & Teens is a leading institution offering inpatient psychiatric care to young individuals in the Chicagoland vicinity. We specialize in providing exceptional clinical treatment to children and adolescents grappling with mental health disorders and concurrent addictions. Our team of experts conducts thorough assessments to tailor treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapies and services that align with each young person's unique needs. These comprehensive plans may encompass group therapy, medication management services, and essential medical interventions.
We currently have an opening for the position of Chief Nursing Officer, a full-time salaried role integral to our dynamic leadership team at Montrose Behavioral Health. The CNO is responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising nursing operations and the provision of behavioral health/nursing services. We are seeking an individual who embodies a positive, empathetic, and professional approach in their interactions with both customers and nursing staff. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing required. Master’s degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.
- Five or more years’ nursing experience.
- Three or more years progressive managerial experience required.
- Three or more years behavioral health experience preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current Indiana IL RN icense.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
