We seek a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our marketing team! Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the CMO's primary responsibility is to drive the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan focused on talent acquisition, retention, growth, and customer experience. This position oversees the Firm's branding, digital marketing, internal communications, and public relations.  With a deep understanding of the Firm's talent needs and specialization through industry and services, this role will oversee the digital channels to drive successful talent outcomes and capture our share of revenue opportunities. The CMO will lead the Marketing Team to ensure all efforts are tracked against KPIs for each service and industry group and Elliott Davis as a whole. The CMO will also work alongside the Firm's Strategic Value Leader to expand sales management, distribution channel management, and customer expansion.  The CMO ensures the Firm's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences achieving high impact.
As a senior-level marketing professional, the CMO must be analytical and creative and possess extensive knowledge in various disciplines such as production, information technology, legal, and finance. The CMO will also plan, direct and coordinate a marketing budget in accordance with the Firm's strategy and goals.

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan, while effectively managing brand reputational risk, to ensure the internal and external brand is optimally aligned with the Firm's strategic objectives.
    • Lead the Marketing and Public Relations efforts in the development and execution of marketing initiatives, communications and campaigns that elevate the Firm brand.
    • Use a data-driven approach to understand strategic growth drivers for talent attraction and retention, key service/industry groups and build strategies based on an understanding of the talent market and the buyer and the buyer journey to yield meaningful results.
    • Work with key stakeholders to identify KPIs and provide analysis related to how growth marketing programs are performing against those metrics.
    • Build content marketing strategies to enable the organization to attract and retain top talent, generate demand and to facilitate the sales processes through relevant content, distribution channels and optimization.
    • Develop marketing strategies for large-scale projects.
    • Lead initiatives that promote engagement, reach and data capture.
    • Drive marketing consistency across all client touchpoints, ensuring that all consumer communications are aligned with overall brand positioning.
    • Evaluate marketing programs and media choices that maximize ROI. Optimize strategies in real time to maximize investment effectiveness.
    • Develop mechanisms for market research, market surveys and customer feedback.
    • Develop and manage agency relationships to maximize media investment, effectively and efficiently creating impactful and breakthrough content with a full marketing funnel mindset.
    • Analyze data to determine campaign efficiency and ROI of relationships and resources.
    • Manage budgets including annual planning and monthly budget reporting.
Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications required.
    • 10+ years of applicable Marketing or agency experience.
    • Outstanding leadership and communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, impeccable business ethics and a proven track record of delivering business results.
    • Experience with one or more professional service firms
    • Experience in strategic planning and collaboration
    • Strong track record developing branded communications plans (digital, advertising, media, promotions, endorsements).
    • Demonstrated expertise at creating marketing programs that have highly persuasive impact.
    • Balanced blend of analytical, strategic, practical, and creative thinking skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills in all media formats.
    • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
    • Proactively collaborates with internal partners to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
    • Experience in agency management or agency experience.
    • Thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative consumer research techniques.
    • Proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools.
    • Personal Computer proficiency, specifically spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, database, Internet, and email applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team
    • Passionate customer advocacy and being customer-centric
    • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management
    • Deep understanding of changing market dynamics
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
