Description:
Duties- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to the executive team and board of directors
- Oversee all legal matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage and lead a team of attorneys and legal professionals
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risk and protect the organization's interests
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and industry trends
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation
- Collaborate with external counsel as needed
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience as a Chief Legal Officer or similar role in a corporate setting
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, employment law, and intellectual property law
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal matters and provide strategic advice to senior leadership
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team of attorneys and legal professionals
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of success in managing legal risks and ensuring compliance

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
