Vinson Hall Retirement Community (VHRC), a premier non-profit Life Plan Community, located in McLean, VA is currently seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our diverse team of Aging Services executives. The Chief Financial Officer supports the approved mission and functions of Vinson Hall Corporation in the most effective and efficient manner by implementing policy and fiscal guidance.
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the financial strategy and reporting, risk management, compliance and investment management for the organization. The Chief Financial Officer engages with residents, their families, our employees and the broader community to build trust and transparency in financial matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and regulations.
- Familiarity with retirement community operations is a plus.
