Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) to join our executive team. The CDO will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the delivery of our services and solutions to government clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, client relationship management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for service delivery that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Project Management: Oversee project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to optimize project delivery and maximize profitability.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contractual requirements.
• Performance Measurement: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the performance of the delivery team and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the executive team to drive company-wide initiatives and achieve strategic objectives.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and government policies that may impact service delivery.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Financial Management - ensure delivery of projects and programs meet company financial objectives.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior leadership role, preferably in a government contracting firm or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and motivate teams.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions.
• Proficiency in risk management, financial analysis, and performance measurement.
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations and procedures is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CSM) are a plus
