Responsibilities:
The Parts Counter Person primary goal is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates.
**MUST HAVE GM CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**
- Oversee overall parts inventory
- Manage Parts Team and bring a positive culture to department
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Complete special order part request for the customer
- Communicate with customer on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.
- Attend weekly department meetings
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for three or more hours at a time
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least eighteen years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR policy requirements
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
- Manage parts inventory and ensure cores are returned in a timely manner.
- Receive and check in parts: Receive and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders and ensure all parts are placed and accounted for on the parts cart.
