This position is responsible for providing timekeeping and office support at the Wenatchee warehouse during the cherry harvest.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Learns the Kronos timekeeping system
- Becomes familiar with the cherry warehouse operation
- Creates minor day off schedules and monitors minor days off; notifies HR or production supervisors immediately if any unscheduled minor is on premises
- Ensures that minors clock out at 10 hours
- At start of shift, emails plant manager and HR with the attendance count
- Checks email regularly throughout shift
- Notes daily call-ins in Kronos
- Creates comments in Kronos for any “out of the ordinary” situation (late in, forgot to clock in, etc.)
- Approves production timecards on a daily basis
- Distributes attendance sheets to floor leads at the start of each shift
- Collects attendance sheets after the first hour of the shift; makes copies and returns sheets to floor leads
- Verifies information on attendance sheets and transfers information to Kronos timekeeping system; consults with floor leads for clarification on any notes (employees forgetting to clock in/out, job transfers, late arrivals, etc.)
- Writes all start times, breaks, lunches, dinners, and end times on attendance sheets
- Notes start times for next day on white board (prior to current day finish)
- Creates schedules and makes adjustments to schedules when needed
- Submits all paperwork to main office
- Initiates term forms for no-call-no-shows and submits to HR
- Keeps HR apprised of employee attendance issues
- Assists with new hire orientations as needed
- Performs other office duties, clerical tasks, and warehouse tasks as needed to support the cherry operation
- Follows all safety protocol
- Demonstrates exceptional attendance, keeping unscheduled/unexcused absences to a minimum

Salary: $16.28 - $19.00 /Hr
