Role and Responsibilities

• The Analytical Chemistry Lab tech will be supporting analytical testing /routine QC analyses in the Krosche Analytical Sciences/ Quality Control area.
• They will run routine analysis which includes pH measurements, water testing, titration, moisture analysis, viscosity, colorimetry, and others.
• They will help with routine sampling and analyses for raw materials, bulk product, finished product and packaging components.
• They will help with stability studies set-up and completion of testing on a well-defined schedule.
• They will train on SOPs for operation and maintenance of lab equipment and performing lab functions in compliance with good documentation and good laboratory practices (GLP) in conjunction with ES&H and OSHA requirements.
• They will help in troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repair of laboratory equipment.
• They will assist in writing analytical test methods & reports.
• They will help maintain regular inventory of lab chemicals and supplies and associated documentation.
• Coordinate with external vendors for: equipment servicing, calibration, laboratory waste management.
• Assist in conducting and documenting laboratory investigations/deviations.
• Comply with all job-related safety and other requirements and train other personnel on safety procedures on equipment, as needed.

Assume other duties and responsibilities, as necessary, within and outside the department in an effort to provide the required support to ensure adherence to production schedules.
