Cheminformatics Intern - Summer 2024

• Location:: Billerica, MA
• Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Pay rate: $28 - $35, based on experience

This role will be to assist in data analysis of biological and chemical features related to formulation development. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Targeted mRNA Delivery Head of Digital to design data science solutions for the acceleration of lipid nanoparticle formulation and efficacy. Depending on the candidate's interests and experience, projects may include one or more of the following: *Developing interfaces and structuring lab data for use within an AI model *Working on AI model tuning or chemical featurization *Developing lab solutions for automated data transfer and harmonization *Developing internal software tools and dashboards for accelerating insights

• Self-motivated individual with a strong interest in data and life sciences industry
• Strong interest in cheminformatics or bioinformatics topics
• Fluent in Python and data science adjacent libraries such as Numpy and Pandas, knowledge of cheminformatics packages such as RDKit preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• MS/PhD student preferred

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computational Chemistry, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Data Science degree, focus on Cheminformatics preferred
