This full-time, on-site position will report directly to one of the PTP Plant Engineering Supervisors at the Hudson, NH PTP facility and will be responsible for the management of the site's planned safety system Inspections, hazardous waste stream, and the maintenance and general upkeep of the buildings and property. The facility sits on 190 acres in rural Hudson, NH, and has approximately 550,000 square feet of office, lab and manufacturing space. Area of responsibility extends to a fully conditioned 123,000 square foot warehouse facility also located in Hudson, NH. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and capable of working in a collaborative team environment.

The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and capable of working in a collaborative team environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of tasks in controlling and monitoring of chemicals and/or hazardous waste within the facility and/or manufacturing production areas. The candidate shall ensure all areas are in compliance in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Responsible for hazardous chemicals and waste material inventories; characterization/determination including proper segregation, containerizing, labeling and preparing for shipment, in accordance with DOT, federal, state and local regulations.
- May be required to clean and service equipment that may contain hazardous substances and to participate in the sorting and accumulation of hazardous waste materials in accordance with the Federal, State and Local regulators.
- Responsible for pre-planned prioritized safety inspections of various assets/systems throughout the buildings (fire extinguishers, fire doors, etc...)
- Must have a great customer service demeanor and capable of working with outside contractors and vendors.
- Must be able to operate within a computerized maintenance work order system. Qualified candidate must be able to log work performed, provide a brief explanation of the problem and summarize what was replaced and or repaired.
- Installs, maintains and dismantles a wide variety of facility equipment. Must be capable of working from blueprints, equipment drawings, schematics and manufactures specification and literature.
- Oversees the installation and movement of a variety of light, medium and heavy equipment using special tools and equipment such as staging, hoists and rigging.
- Works independently and/or leads a group of workers to complete assignments, renovations, fit-ups or repairs.
- Must be capable of performing periodic maintenance inspection on all types of facilities building infrastructure and equipment.
- May be required to participate on special teams including but not limited to emergency and medical response teams, snow crew and be willing to participate in the on-call coverage for the facility.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

- 9/80 work schedule. Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend with the Off-Friday.
