Position Summary
To manufacture, dispense, label, and package coating solutions and primers, while ensuring products meet quality control and customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Verifies identification and quality of raw materials through staging process to maintain quality consistency.
- Schedules dispensing of finished products according to manufacturing, pailing, and shipping schedule.
- Measures and loads raw materials into reactors and mixing vessels precisely by utilizing right equipment.
- Verifies metrics (grams or kgs) before adding products to the reactor through a pump or by hand.
- Monitors and verifies chemical process is operated within required range and conditions. Checks batch amounts, temperature and other variables while blending is taking place.
- Ensures all blending and filling jobs are correctly tracked in the MRP system.
- Cleans reactors between each use to ensure quality and consistency of manufactured products.
- Ensures accuracy and reproducibility of chemical processes and offers suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Takes sample measurements to determine if the quality is within required specifications such as viscosity and density.
- Uses lab equipment to make small batch sizes for customer orders.
- Prepares labels that meet regulatory requirements for products and shipments by utilizing label software.
- Maintains inventory of supplies which are used for manufacturing, pailing and shipping.
- Provides support and backup relief for other Operations Department personnel.

- High School Diploma and minimum two years manufacturing experience to include handling liquid materials, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Forklift Certification Required.

Pay: $19.00 - $31.00 per hour
