Description
Manufacture chemical substances by setting-up, operating, and controlling production processes. Restock inventory and fill sale orders per customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares production processes by studying work orders; setting systems and controls
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure conformance to production or processing standards.
- Pumping and mixing chemicals
- Maintains quality standards by collecting samples for testing
- Maintains processing systems investigating warning and malfunctions; Obtaining required maintenance services; Cleaning-up after processes
- Documents processing by completing logs and databases
- Ensure accuracy of Batch Ticket Formulas
- Verify product and production equipment inspections
- Assist with trouble shooting product issues
- Follow safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures
Experience Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- College or High school Chemistry a plus
- Forklift Experience
- Excellent verbal and written Communication
- Data Entry Skills
- Strong Math Skills
- Active listener
- Coordination
- Critical thinker
- Computer experience
- Ability to lift 20 pounds regularly and move 500 pound drums with a drum cart
