As a Chemical Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining chemical processing equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and control process variables, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
- Collect and analyze samples for quality control purposes.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Chemical Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or education is a plus.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as SOPs and equipment manuals.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and handle occasional overtime as needed.
