Description:

• Follow batch tickets to formulate and combine/react chemicals.
• Needs to be able to weigh precise raw mixes and follow batch sheets.
• Operate semi-automated filling machine to fill drums
• Load and unload tanks and tank trucks
• Connect hoses, pumps and valves to transfer chemicals between tanks and drums
• Fill out manufacturing paperwork and checklists
• Will take samples from tanks and containers. Some heavy lifting is required
• Weight restriction (50 or 75lbs), there are drum dollies and carts for them to use as well as forklifts on pallets. If in compounding room can have bags that are
• 0-75 lbs. They lift skid to platform and then carry them manually.

They will be starting out in the bulk load/unload area. They

are coming in and being given paperwork for a rail car, sample it, hook up

hoses, transfer lines. Will then move the product to the storage tanks. Will

then go to the fill room. Will transfer chemicals and program automatic fillers

to fill drums and overseeing process. If things start going wrong, you can hit

the stop button. Will also make blends of solvents, sampling/approving. Larger

batches go to the fill lines and then another operator will take care of it.

Could go to the compound room. Powders, resins, solvents.

This is the more complicated of blends. Will add 15-20 materials. Will involve

heating/cooling.

Also have the warm room. Its kept at 80-90 degrees. Need to

keep at a constant temperature to maintain integrity of product. It's very

viscous so it can be finicky.

Material Orders:

They will have to figure out the weight/gallons and do basic

math to find the right amounts.
