Chemical Hygiene Specialist, Advanced

Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a Chemical Hygiene Specialist with Advanced experience that will be responsible for owning and implementing the Laboratory Chemical Hygiene Plan and will serve as the Chemical Hygiene Officer for SRNL. This job function reports up through the Safety and Health Manager and is responsible for Chemical Management and Chemical Safety related programs and field support for both the R&D as well as Operations and Facility/Construction work performed at SRNL. This position requires expertise and knowledge in Chemical Management, Safety and Health regulations, site policies and procedures, and consensus standards to maintain compliant S&H programs at SRNL. Demonstrate a sound base of technical knowledge of safety and health regulations, standards, concepts, practices, principles, and techniques. Experience in hazard analysis processes and related documentation.
