Job Summary:
Our Client, a collective of award-winning Michelin-starred restaurants that have set the benchmark for gastronomy in the American dining scene, is seeking a driven and skilled individual to join the team as a Chef de Cuisineat their newest restaurant in Palm Beach, FL. This role is a cornerstone in the pre-opening phase of their newest dining concept, focusing on Classical Continental Cuisine, demanding creativity and leadership to shape the future of their menu and dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the pre-opening process, aligning with the restaurant's vision.
- Collaborate with other Chefs de Cuisine and Directors for menu development.
- Lead the culinary team, ensuring excellence in food preparation and presentation.
- Embody the company values in everything you do and mentor our next generation of chefs.
- Uphold the highest standards of food quality and service.
- Manage kitchen operations effectively, including P&L responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Michelin experience with ideally 3-5 years in management.
- Minimum 2 years in a Chef de Cuisine role at a Michelin restaurant.
- Independent, with a proven track record in kitchen management to be able to lead ~30 chefs.
- Previously part of a new restaurant opening would be ideal.
- Classically trained in culinary arts preferred.
- Experience being accountable for a restaurant P&L.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow with the company.
