SalaryThe members of Team Check Out are responsible for the following:
- Greeting patients when they arrive at the Check Out desk after their appointment
- Verifies insurance and demographic information.
- Reviews services entered into practice management system by the clinical team in order to accurately collect copays, deductibles or cosmetic service payments.
- Enters charges in the computer system for services received.
- Assist with scheduling follow up appointments or setting up recall notifications.
- Successfully reconciling at the end of clinic.
- Review appointment reports prior to clinics to insure correct collection of Copays, deductibles, and balances due.
- Responsible for A/R management.
Must be proficient with both PC and Apple computers. Must have excellent math skills. Must be an extrovert with excellent people skills.
Position requires an individual with exceptional customer service skills while working well under pressure. Attention to detail and meticulous data entry skills are required. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and sees life with a glass that is half full.
All qualified candidates are required to pass a background check and drug test post-offer of employment and prior to hire.
