The Licensed Nurse @ The Kensington provides exemplary nursing services to residents. This is a full-time position, Friday-Tuesday, 7:30am-4:30pm with flexibility for overtime and holidays.
Starting pay: $34/hr
Hiring bonus: $1,000
What will I do every day?
- Assess residents to identify their physical, psychosocial and environmental needs
- Monitor residents’ well-being and report any changes in condition
- Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director
- Assist with Medication Management Program
- Assist with care plans
- Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
- Document evaluation of nursing interventions including resident response
What will I need to be successful in this role?
- Bring a smile to work every day
- Be a great team player
- Be a graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program
- Have a minimum of one-year experience as a nurse in a senior care setting desired
- Have some Assisted living and dementia experience
- Have flexibility to work holidays and overtime as needed
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
- Current active, unencumbered Nursing License in the state of practice (LVN/RN/LPN)
