Charge Nurse Lpn

We are seeking a Charge Nurse LPN to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.
​Responsibilities:

• Follow physician orders for residents' medication management and administration
• Provide basic patient care and treatment as prescribed by MD or NP
• Document medication administration and treatments in E-MARS
• Knowledge and application of Health Department rules and regulations for maintenance of Med cart and administration of medications to residents
• Knowledge of basic Life Safety rules and regulations and monitoring care staff and resident for compliance.
• Monitor care staff compliance with resident plan of care to ensure quality resident care
• Timely reporting to management of staff coverage issue and performance
• Deal appropriately with a resident, care staff, family member and visitor concerns or complaints, documenting the issues and actions taken through the appropriate reporting mechanism.
• Manage minor physical plant issues that arises during assigned shifts, reporting as necessary to Maintenance Director and Director of Nursing.

• Computer literate
• Ability to build rapport with staff, residents and families
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
• Previous assisted living experience welcome but not required
