Sensing & Safety Technologies (SST) is a burgeoning business unit within Honeywell that is poised for expansive growth. As an Account Manager with SST, you'll be part of an elite team shaping the future of advanced sensing and hazard detection technologies across a diverse range of industries. Your work will support pivotal SST endeavors such as enhancing healthcare accessibility, enabling more agile supply chains, and developing electrification solutions. With SST, you're contributing to a legacy of excellence and innovation that keeps critical operations safe and productive, from semiconductor fabs to the factory floor. The Channel Sales Representativedrives the sale of products, systems, and services through resellers/channels to achieve sales and profit goals and identifies and approaches key or strategic partners and sets short and long-term channel strategies. This role will foster reseller satisfaction and performance. He/ She will develop customer relationships through partnering and/or attending trade shows, seminars, etc. with distributors or resellers. This role will provide education of Honeywell products through technical presentations and will manage, maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status through regular business reviews. Additionally, he/ she will analyzecompetitive intelligence, market trends, and drive business through e-commerce portal. 

 

The territory for this role is Illinois and Wisconsin with preference for candidate to sit in Chicago area.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic organizational planning
  • Coordinate sales support 
  • Drive key behavior compliance and optimization of digital CRM tools including Salesforce.com 
  • Fullaccountabilityofsales pipeline,sales executionand pricing managementglobally 
  • Drivebusiness growthbyorganizingclient andcustomer events
  • Work withSales Inventory Operations Planning(SIOP) to strategically align sellers and customer accounts 

 

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Previous Channel Sales experience
  • Previous sales experience with electronics or sensors

  • A proficient understanding of the principles and best practices in Channel Sales
  • Excellent team and communication skills
