In this role you'll be challenged to develop new go to market strategies to help drive strategic business growth at key retail accounts. You'll get the chance to spearhead product and marketing strategies aimed at helping Delta gain share and win new business.


The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of channel and customer-specific growth plans to achieve desired financial and market share objectives. This includes ownership of both online and in-store merchandising execution as well as the development of customer marketing plans. The Channel Marketing Manager will also play an integral role in the product pipeline development, working to translate retailer requirements and analyzing competitive market data to develop winning strategies for both online and in-store product pitches.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop strategic channel and customer business growth plans and execute roll out for the Walmart, Club, and Traditional retail channels.
  • Leverage customer and market insights to solve problems and inform product pipeline and go to market strategies to ensure success with customer and mitigate channel conflict
  • Manage online content strategy for retail customers aimed at improving SEO and conversion.
  • Leverage analytics to inform innovation pipeline and marketing tactics aimed at growing margin and increasing share of shelf.
  • Manage marketing and display budgets for Club, Walmart, and Traditional customers
  • Manage display and reset execution for key customers working cross functionally and with agency partners to ensure best in class merchandising execution
  • Collaborate with retail marketing, sales teams, and internal cross functional teams to deliver on annual growth plans and KPIs
  • Partner with retail media teams to create annual support plans aligned to joint business objectives.
  • Partner with internal creative teams, outside agencies, and customers’ creative teams to develop customer-specific marketing assets, collateral, promotions, advertising, digital activation, and merchandising
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise to manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.
  • Solves difficult and often complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions
  • Role can be remote or hybrid/in-person with an office in our Carmel, Indiana headquarters. The role will require up to 25% travel to customer meetings or visits to the corporate office if remote.

Education & Experience:

  • 4 year college degree required in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Multiple years of work experience in related field with demonstrated experience delivering outcomes.
  • Strong financial proficiency.
  • Experience with Walmart and Club retail channels highly preferred
  • Excellent data analytics skills and use of continuous improvement tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and network with all functions and levels of the organization.
  • Able to lead, engage, hold accountable and influence others in a team-based environment; clear portfolio and/or demonstration of project manager skill competencies enabling high business impact outcomes.
  • Consistent track record in building organizational capability through information visibility, data integrity and training.
  • Resiliency and comfortable stretching self and others as a change agent.
