Position Summary: The Channel Marketing Manager - Commercial collaboratively develops implements and executes marketing programs that target LX Hausys' Commercial business channel to promote the company's products and services in alignment with the business goals. This includes creating marketing plans, staying current with the latest industry trends, benchmarking, ROI analysis and in addition coordinate campaigns within the Marketing Team and with the Marketing Director in close cooperation with Sales and Product Management. The role supports primarily the Surface business of LX Hausys and will provide support to the Marketing Manager as is relates to Flooring as needed.
Role Description: Collaboratively develops, implements and executes marketing programs that target LX Hausys' Commercial business channel to promote the company's products and services in alignment with the business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Develop annual marketing plan in support of the business channels Commercial per directive given by Marketing Director (MD) and VP of Surfaces in support of the company's marketing strategy. This includes but is not limited to developing, driving and implementing channel specific marketing activities & product launch support. Prior experience in the Building Materials Industry is strongly preferred. In addition, support activities for the Builder Business as needed.
• Position requires an in-depth understanding of the business channel to establish sound marketing programs for the relevant target groups: architects & interior designers, developers, national accounts and relevant professional associations such as IIDA, ASID, AAHID, ISFA, USGBC, AIA, etc. (national, regional and local levels). A key element hereof is the positioning of the company's brands to be top-of-mind for relevant stakeholders.
• Experience with collateral development including sales tools, partner enablement tools, direct marketing campaigns (i.e. white papers, collateral, presentations, etc.) via offline and online tactics.
• Assist with promoting company-owned showrooms to the A&D community, direct sales partners and consumers.
• Coordinate and expand national & regional association outreach (i.e. memberships, sponsorships, marketing programs, etc.) to increase company exposure to relevant target groups.
• Assist in the development of training material and CEUs for A&D firms and other tools in support of launch & learns.
• Responsible for ensuring product information on relevant A&D platforms such as Material Bank and BIMsmith is up-to-date, maximizing the company's exposure and motivating usage of these platforms.
• Responsible for ensuring that Certifications and Credentials are up-to-date, current and relevant
on company owned and external platforms
• Role requires an in-depth understanding of the company's CRM system to execute marketing campaigns (i.e. newsletters), requiring an on-going dialogue with the Sales Team ensuring key stakeholders are accounted for within the company's CRM system.
• Work closely with the Marketing Visual Designer to ensure website needs, digital assets/tools, social media strategy, etc. are in place to meet the demands of the business channels. In addition, closely collaboration with the Merchandising Specialist to correlate channel specific needs as it relates to physical sales tools/samples, as well as coordinating projects with the LX Hausys' Creative Marketing Manager as needed (collateral, photography, etc.).
• Collaborate with the international Marketing Team at Headquarters (HQ) in Korea, which includes but is not limited to ensure tools offered are being utilized, manage country-specific adaptations if needed, provide reporting as requested by HQ, coordinate international marketing activities as related to area of responsibility.
• Perform adhoc quantitative and/or qualitative Market and Channel analysis including data source and collection, process and synthesis, analysis, interpretation and recommendations.
Requirements
Qualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:
Education and Work Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a related marketing/communications role supporting and
driving sales for Commercial business channel.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Prior experience and knowledge of customer relationship platforms (i.e. Salesforce).
• Prior experience and knowledge of marketing automation platforms (i.e. Pardot, Eloqua).
• Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Experience in managing financial resources preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Korean is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to effectively present information to the Marketing and Sales teams, other department managers, external vendors and the Executive Team.
• Must also be a self-starter, able to work autonomously, team player, motivated, energetic and be able to pay exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Ability to handle tight deadlines and excel in a fast-paced environment, changing priorities or requesting additional resources as needed to execute requested projects on time.
• Must be flexible, open to feedback and present a positive attitude in working with internal/external sources to achieve goals.
• Must have the ability to learn software/systems, training others and manage daily tasks effectively.
Physical Demands:
• Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients.
• Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.
• Position requires minimal lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
• Position requires travel up to 25% of time, including overnight travel in the territory.
