Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Lansing Delta Township on a full-time basis.
The Role:
As the Change Implementation Coordinator (CIC) you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating timing of engineering work orders for the plant. This role involves significant amount of interaction with other departments within the plant and suppliers.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Provides plant Engineering Change coordination
Update CIC status for engineering work orders in ECM
Processing of deviations to specs
Analysis of specification related issues
Utilizes ECM for engineering change inquiry information
Works reports designated for Engineering changes and breakpoints
Coordinates the implementation of temporary work orders
Communicates with supplier on change status
Maintains engineering work order log for each model year
Verifies Production Trial Run (PTR) status for engineering changes
Develops and finalizes part breakpoints with input from supplier, engineering and marketing
Facilitate weekly Engineering change meeting to communicate ECS effective date changes and release new ECS report
Works with offsite locations to implement engineering changes
Attends PFEP meetings
Maintains ISO standards
Implements, monitors and maintains GMS elements
Makes disposition of interim obsolete material
Coordinates the disposal/return of replaced parts
Update CIC status for engineering work orders in ECM
Internal Controls compliance for their functions
Supports BPD / Scorecard achievement
Additional Description
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work OT and off-shift as needed
Analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex
Oral and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with other
Knowledge of material department operation, manufacturing processes, and departmental relationships
Planning and organizational abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of supply chain functions
What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
College degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent experience
Knowledge of MGO-A and ECM
