Job Description
  • Support daily Quality processes to ensure a dependable and efficient material flow at SILC
  • Potential daily CQMS data entry for Non-Conformance material and product at SILC
  • Assist to manage daily, Non-Conformance material events
  • Effective Non-Conformance material segregation and coordination on both information systems (MMS & Oracle)
  • Assist, support and coordinate quality sorts at SILC ensuring product integrity and inventory control prevail
  • Provide Non-Conformance information in a timely manner to business stakeholders
  • Inform and/or escalate quality issues or concerns of operations/processes at SILC
  • Assist, help and support operations, A3's, and continues improvement projects
  • Review, validate and update Quality processes at SILC with business stakeholders
  • Support and assist internal audits at SILC
  • Support and assist any other initiative or activity at SILC approved by your direct supervisor
  • Manage and coach, 3PL personnel on Non-Conformance material processes and requirements
  • Promote a safe and quality driven work environment at SILC

Qualifications
    • Above average computer skills
    • Scanner experience
    • Self-motivated
    • Able to work with minimal supervision
    • Good organizational skills
    • Need to work efficiently and multi-task
    • Positive attitude
    • Customer service oriented
    • Problem solving training or certification is a plus

Additional Information
Safety
  • Responsible for attending monthly all hands meeting
  • Responsible for reporting all safety issues/concerns to area manager

Quality
  • Responsible for reviewing and updating area work instructions
    • All documents to be reviewed annually
      • Work with the area SME to review work instructions
      • Update work instructions per SME changes
        • Admin should write the work instruction with operational SME input
      • Upload changes into the Change Request Portal
  • Responsible for performing LPA (Layered Process Audits) and process audits to ensure all process steps are documented in a work instruction
    • Work with the area SME to create work instructions, forms, procedures where needed
      • Admin should write the work instruction with operational SME input
      • Upload changes into the Change Request Portal
  • Responsible for attending area DOJO meetings with operations team
    • Review the following
      • Quality
        • Update on current quality issues for the area
        • Inform operations on the area of observation for process audits
  • Responsible for attending VOC (Voice of the Customer) meetings
    • Record notes from the meeting
    • Send out notes to internal attendees after the meeting concludes
  • Responsible for attending all meetings that require quality input for their area
    • New process discussions, war-rooms, customer requirement meetings, etc.
    • Record notes and action items from the meeting
  • Responsible for attending all A3's for assigned areas
    • Record A3 in the A3 database during the meeting
    • Provide quality input
  • Responsible for managing nonconforming material in assigned areas
    • Updating the status of items from hold/available
    • Sending nonconforming material list to operations leadership and customer for disposition/direction
    • Perform investigation on all internal actions that lead to material being damaged or mis shipments
    • Performing physical picking/shipping movements to disposition nonconforming material
    • Performing systemic picking/shipping transactions to disposition nonconforming material
  • Responsible for covering area audits during the event that the area is short staffed
  • Responsible for cross training in other quality departments as needed to assist with misc. quality projects
