Certified/Registered Medical Assistant

Maryland Vascular Specialists (MVS) is looking for a personable, hardworking Certified Medical Assistant for our Columbia/Laurel offices. Travel between our Laurel and Columbia offices is required. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. This position includes:

• Rooming & Triaging Patients
• Chart Preparation
• Answering phone calls, as well as taking messages
• Interacting with patients, physicians, medical offices, etc
• Daily use of Medical EMR system
• Teamwork to ensure a successful patient experience
• Insurance authorizations
• Scheduling appointments
• These duties are among other responsibilities and tasks in compliance with MVS standards.

**A valid driver’s license, and a reliable form of transportation is required. It is preferred that you have experience using an EMR system and familiar with standard computer technology tasks and functions. It is also vital that a candidate displays exceptional customer service and values patient satisfaction as a top priority.
