Responsibilities:
- Design and lead yoga classes for individuals and groups
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for participants
- Provide guidance and support to students during yoga sessions
- Demonstrate proper form and technique for various yoga poses
- Modify exercises to accommodate different skill levels and physical abilities
- Educate participants on the benefits of yoga and its impact on overall health and well-being
- Incorporate elements of mindfulness and meditation into yoga sessions
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Yoga Instructor or in a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of yoga principles, techniques, and practices
- Familiarity with program design and the ability to create effective workout routines
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology as it relates to yoga practice
- Experience in group fitness instruction or other related disciplines such as kickboxing, Pilates, dance, or sports coaching is a plus
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and educate participants
- Ability to demonstrate proper body mechanics and alignment during yoga poses
- Passion for promoting health and wellness through the practice of yoga
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and create a supportive atmosphere
