WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery is located at 6020 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
SCHEDULE: Full Time Days for 40 hrs./ week. 6:30 AM - 3 PM with weekend and holiday rotating on-call requirements.

Department is revamping and getting all new equipment/sterilizers. Will be part of rebuild
Surgical Hospital with many different surgical service lines (Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Urology, OB, Pediatric, plasty and general surgery)

Here's WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Some college preferred
EXPERIENCE
- One year experience in Sterile Processing Required
- Operation Room (OR) experience preferred
- Must live within a 30 mile on-call drive
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS
- CRCST--Certified Registered Central Service Technician--Required upon hire OR
- CSPDT--Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician--Required upon hire OR
- CBSPD--Certified Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution--Upon hire required
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Maintenance of surgical instruments
- Performs Scanning of instrument trays for location and creation off count sheet/label
- Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays
- Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/tray
