Certified Sports Nutritionist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

LIT Method is looking to hire a Registered Dietician and Sports Nutritionist for a fast pace startup.

LIT is a wellness and technology company that is on a mission to make premium fitness accessible to everyone. Backed by Jay-Z, we are seeking an experienced Registered Dietician with a proven track record. You will be responsible for all communications with our members regarding nutritional guidance, meal plans, etc. We are looking for someone who can think outside of the box and drive customer engagement. The company is relocating from Los Angeles and seeking the best talent in Salt Lake City, Utah.

SUMMARY:

As a Registered Dietitian, your exceptional nutritional knowledge allows members to receive appropriate, high quality diet plans essential to the best nutritional care. You will develop nutrition plans that help members achieve goals like weight loss, muscle mass, etc.

STATUS: Part time

LOCATION: Salt Lake City

DEPARTMENT: Food and Nutrition

SCHEDULE: Day

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, with major studies in food and nutrition, or dietetics.
• Must possess an appropriate state license.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (either in place or received within 6 months of hire)
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience preferred
• Strong analytical, computer and communication skills
• Exceptional customer service and patient care

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ASSESSMENT & DIET PLANNING

• Complete nutritional assessments for all members digitally.
• Assesses the nutritional status of members through their food logs.
• Recommend and provide diet instructions or meal plans for members based on their nutrition, fitness and goals
• Instruct members on special diets and general good nutrition; complete diet instructions for complex diets

EDUCATION:

BS: Nutrition (Required)

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
