We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CRNA to join our medical team. Your expertise in patient care and anesthesia administration will be essential in providing optimal healthcare services.
*Pain cases starting at 7:30am
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
- Adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop an appropriate anesthesia plan for each patient
- Provide post-operative pain management to patients
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate medical intervention when necessary
- Document patient information, anesthesia administration details, and post-operative progress accurately and thoroughly
Skills:
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices to effectively manage patients' emotional well-being during procedures
- Familiarity with radiation therapy techniques and safety protocols
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Experience working with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) related to anesthesia administration
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Cerner for efficient documentation and information retrieval
- Understanding of clinical trial protocols and requirements for participation in research studies
- Knowledge of tube feeding techniques for patients who require specialized nutrition support
- Ability to collaborate effectively with primary care physicians and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
