Certified Pharmacy Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality patient care. This position is based in a hospital setting, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to critical care.

Duties:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Accurately measure medication quantities and package them appropriately
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Assist in the compounding of medications, including IV infusions and inhalation therapies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care
- Previous experience in an acute care or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.57 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
