At CenterPointe Hospital-St. Charles, we specialize in life-changing care for adolescents, adults and senior adults. Inpatient and outpatient treatment are provided for a range of mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Pay Range:
- Starting at $17.00 per hour depending on experience.
- Full-time & Part-time shifts available
Shift times:
- Evening shift 3:00pm - 11:30 pm
- Night shift 11:00pm - 7:30 am
Certified Patient Care Technician/BHA II Responsibilities:
- Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive, and structured environment.
- Responsible for conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15-minute intervals.
- Document timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient's medical record.
- Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
- Engage patients in interactions, group therapy and activities designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals and increase therapeutic coping skills.
- Complete and maintain required documentation. Complete paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place on the unit.
Certified Patient Care Technician/BHA II Job Requirements:
Education:
- Proof of Patient Care Technician Certification within the last 3 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of behavioral experience preferred.
