Full-time position available for a NYS registered Occupational Therapy Assistant interested in working with children in school-based / residential programs in Rhinebeck and Red Hook NY. New graduates welcome to apply.
Duties include:
- Working in conjunction with OTR/L to devise the best treatment plan for students
- Provide treatments to students on caseload
- Assist in collecting data to best assess the needs of each student
- Completing all necessary documentation for progress and status reports
- Complete all necessary trainings to remain compliant with current standards
- Provide input on any necessary school-based adaptations
Requirements:
- NYS Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Student-centered approach
- Dedication to compliance and best practices
- Good listening and collaboration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
