Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Summary

Seeking a strong Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) advocate of the Aprendamos mission to help children attain their highest potential and be motivated to contribute to the mission with pride and integrity. This position is available for in person/on site Full Time or Part Time. Set your own schedule.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications & Skills

• Associates degree or higher in Occupational TherapyAssistance
• New Mexico Certified Occupational Therapy (COTA) License
• Dependable, detail-oriented, team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to facilitate a team approach toward treatment
• Ability to effectively organize and communicate information to target audiences

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities & Duties

• Meet documentation requirements
• Evaluate the effects of the treatment plan and communicate the progress to the family
• Regularly consult and practice with the other professionals on the child’s team
• Work in a changing environment gathering relevant information to integrate, change or modify individualized treatment plan
• Use decision making skills that objectively and fairly evaluate situations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $46.00 per hour
