THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on a Per Diem basis. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a variety of settings including ICU/Intensive Care, CCU/Critical Care, Med Surg/Medical/Surgical, DOU/Telemetry, and ER/ED (Emergency Room/Emergency Department). The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
- Provide basic patient care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Assist with medical procedures and tests
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of California
- Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in an acute care setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
