Certified Medical Assistant With Phlebotomy Experience

The right candidate will be highly motivated, caring, has previous Medical Assistant experience, and enjoys interacting with patients and office visitors. Responsibilities:

• Take and record patients medical histories and vitals

• Prep exam rooms for clinical procedures and routine visits

• Perform data entry tasks in Athena to document patient records

• Collect tissue, fluid, and blood samples from patients

• Monitor storage and inventory of office supplies

• Prepare and administer medications under the direction of the supervising provider

• Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures

• Assist providers during exams

• Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions

• Provide compassionate care and attention to all patient

Education Requirements:

• Requires high school diploma or GED

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred

Skills & Ability Requirements:

• Phlebotomy experienced preferred

• Prior Medical Assistant experience

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Familiarity with electronic medical software and equipment

• Strong organizational skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Must be willing to work in Raleigh and Garner offices (Not on the same day)

• Salary expectations must fall within the range listed

• Typing Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology

Job Details

Position: Full-time

Standard Hours: 36 hours per week

Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm / Friday - 8:00am-12:00pm
