Kick-start your career in healthcare Actalent is looking for full-time Medical Assistants to support our client, a leading local healthcare organization, onsite in Towson, MD. We are hiring for multiple roles, ranging from entry-level to experienced.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals (manual blood pressure), etc.
- EKGs
- Cardiology experience is a plus, but willing to train
- Follow up calls with patients
- Schedule follow up appointments
- Chart in EMR system
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of experience (cardio preferred)
- Must have strong clinical skills: they take blood pressures manually, NOT with the machine
- Needs to be Certified or Registered (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA)
- Experience with Epic (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
- Medical Assistant certification (Required)
