Heartsafe Boston is a private practice located in North Andover, MA which has provided a vast array of cardiovascular services to the Merrimack Valley Community for many years. We are acclaimed for overseeing operations of a Nuclear Cardiology laboratory which has been first-in-the area to be accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission. At Heartsafe, our goal is to provide exceptional high-quality care, and ensure we continue to deliver excellent experiences to our patients according to the standards we have. We are currently seeking a talented candidate to join our team and add further positive value towards our mission.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
* Greeting patients, check in and check out process.
* Obtaining patient history and intake, recording vital signs, and updating medical records.
* Providing patient education as instructed by the provider.
* Scheduling appointments, booking hospital testing/procedures.
* Answering phone calls, processing messages to appropriate personnel.
* Obtaining prior authorizations for medication, facilitating refill requests.
* Processing medical reports and uploading records.
* Explain practice policies, confirm consent forms to patients and maintain HIPAA confidentiality. *Provide polite and professional assistance to colleagues, patients, physicians and hospital personnel by phone, email or in person.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school Diploma or equivalent required.
* Certified Medical Assistant required.
* 3+ years medical office or hospital setting is required, preferably cardiology.
* Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Other skills/knowledge required:
* Polished, must have a professional demeanor with strong work ethic.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to communicate effectively, read and write English for the safety of our patients.
* Proficient with computers/ Microsoft office, typing ability with speed and accuracy.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently.
* Capable of working independently or within a team and ensuring a positive presence in the office.
* Highly trained and accustomed to heavy telephone usage and able to identify critical urgent matters.

Schedule Friday- 8 am to 3 pm
