WHAT YOU'LL DO
Job Summary:
Assists in providing nursing care to Internal Medicine Residency patients. Assists resident physicians and faculty. Assists in maintaining medical group practice functions. Enters prescription orders into digital information systems on physicians' behalf.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency) and successful completion of a medical assisting program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
Required Licensure/ Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential from American Medical Technologists (AMT).
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA). One (1) or more years of medial assisting experience.
