Responsibilities:
- Perform patient service duties such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with basic medical procedures, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and performing EKGs
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during medical procedures
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens appropriately
- Provide medical administrative support, including coding and billing tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical procedures
- Experience with basic life support techniques
- Familiarity with but not required)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
