Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center that offers comprehensive healthcare services such as medical, dental, mental health, and pharmacy to the residents of Muskegon County. HCC is seeking a highly self-motivated individual with excellent patient and clinical skills.
Under the direct supervision of the Site Manager, the Medical Assistant functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team to support the work of the healthcare professional medical team. Duties include, but not limited to coordinating care by gathering information, assisting in patient preparation, maintenance of work area and equipment.

Job Qualifications and Special Skills include:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduated from an accredited training program.
- Current active, in good standing, Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA).
- CPR/ Basic Life Support (BLS) certified required.
- Must possess professional and accurate written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficient in computer and EHR software programs.
- Passionate to work with the underserved population.
