- The Certified Medical Assistant, CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. managing patient flow, rooming of patients, vital signs, patient intake, assisting physicians as needed.
- Cleaning and re-stocking rooms, ordering supplies and maintaining exam rooms. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) as well as registering and scheduling patients in practice management system and any other assignment requested by Practice Manager.
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- 2+ years medical office experience preferred
- Post externship MA experience preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physicians schedule
- Ability to travel to different practices if necessary
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate practice hours
- Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills essential
- EMR (EPIC) experience is a plus
